Adam's peg sorting

Yesterday Adam and his family did the Peg sorting game from Mrs Walkinshaw's email. Adam sorted by colour and type. He recorded the numbers for each and then added the numbers to get a total for each colour. He had a little trouble with getting some numbers the right way around, but persevered and tried again.

Ka pai Adam, what amazing maths learning you have been doing at home!

  1. Well done on doing such clever maths thinking at home Adam! I can see you did some very good counting and writing of numbers. Ka pai for not giving up, even if it was a bit tricky. When I look at your chart I can see you have a lot of green and blue pegs! Which colour did you have the least number of pegs for? From Mrs Wales.

  2. Wow, Adam this is such great maths! You've done counting, sorting and writing numbers! I wonder if you could order them in a pattern? Maybe you could line them up blue, green, blue, green... From Mrs Loye
