One of our letters of the week this week is B so, on Wednesday we made these beautiful, brilliant butterfly paintings!
We painted one half of a butterfly outline. Instead of doing our usual neat colouring inside the lines, we painted lines, dots and 'splodges' of different colours. Then, we folded the paper in half. We pressed, poked and 'smooshed' the paper to spread around and mix the paint. Then, when we unfolded the paper...
Surprise! A beautiful, colourful butterfly!
