For our maths hot spot last week and this week we have been looking at patterns and practising writing numbers to 10. Today we made a pattern using teddy bears. The pattern was blue, red, yellow. We got to choose a teddy from the bag and work out where we came in the pattern. Everyone in Pūkeko helped to make a very long pattern! Maybe our families can help us make patterns at home too!

Kia ora Pukeko Class, we are Room 4 at Panmure Bridge School in Auckland. We like your number patterns. We like how you used numbers and coloured teddy bears to make patterns. Can you make any other pattterns?
ReplyDeleteHello Room 4,
ReplyDeleteThank you for looking at our teddy and pattern and number pictures. We can also make patterns with popsicle sticks and beads on strings. Maybe we will put some pictures up of other patterns another time!
