On Thursday, we took some time in our day to celebrate and farewell the wonderful Pūkeko pals who will be moving across to Toroa next term.
We had a certificate ceremony, presented by our school principal Mrs Walkinshaw, and then we had a movie afternoon!
Everyone who is moving through to Toroa got a special certificate. They also got to wear Miss Muriel's extra special kākahu. A kākahu is like a korowai - a special Maori cloak. We think they look wonderful!
This is such a wonderful group of children and the teachers will really miss having them in Pūkeko.
We are so proud of all of their hard work and the incredible progress they have all made this term.
We are sad to see them leave Pūkeko, but so excited to see all the wonderful things they achieve in Toroa.
