Listen and Draw Game

Kia ora Pūkeko,

It was so cool to see so many of you on our Google Meet today. Thanks for sharing all of the crazy food that you designed after we read Green Eggs and Ham. You all really used your imagination!

Today we played a Listen and Draw game. Mrs Loye gave instructions for everyone to follow like "draw a square at the bottom of your page", and at the end of the instructions you had created a picture!

This is what Mrs Loye's picture looked like:

And this is what all your pictures looked like! They're so great and they look like clowns made out of shapes, just like Mrs Loye's picture!

That's a fun game that you can play with your whānau too. You could draw a picture and give someone instructions to copy it.

You can even play this game with things like lego, duplo, k'nex - you can make a creation, hide it from soemone, and give them instructions to make the same creation!

Here are some pictures to give you ideas:

We'd love to see any photos if you decide to have a go at these games. And remember, you can email mgibson12.pukeko@blogger.com to upload a photo of your creation or drawing to the blog.

Have fun, and we're looking forward to seeing you at our Meet on Thursday!

The Pūkeko Teachers
