It was so lovely to see and hear from you all on our first Google Meet today! It looks like you are all doing wonderful things at home with your whānau.
Here is a link to the story 'The Dot' if you would like to listen to it again. I love how Vashti challenges herself - at first she thinks 'I'm not a very good artist', but then she has a go, tries her best and is able to show her creativity!
We would like you to have a go at expressing your creativity. Can you create a 'Dot' before our next Google Meet on Wednesday?
You could draw your dot with pencil, crayons, paint.
You could make a dot out of taonga from nature like stones, leaves, twigs.
You could make a dot out of lego, duplo or k'nex.
You could make a dot out of slime or food!
You could even make a dot by not making a dot - just like Vashti did in the story.
We'd love to see your dot creations at our Google Meet on Wednesday. Either the real creation or a photo of it.
