This week in Pūkeko we have started doing different writing jobs in our new writing groups: Harakeke and Toetoe. Earlier in the week we went to the sandpit to explore playing in there. We got to use lots of different things like buckets, shovels, dump trucks and bulldozers. We made pyramids and sandcastles, dug holes, transported sand and even buried our legs and feet in the sand so we couldn't see them anymore! After we played in the sandpit we went back inside and did lots of talking and wrote a story about what we did.
