Football Festival

Today we went across to Te Kāhu Park for the second time this term!

This time it was for a Football Festival. We were in teams of five and we played two games of football against another team with either Pūkeko or Toroa students.

We were so proud of ourselves for exploring something new (we learned all about our Heart Value of explore this week) and we had so much fun playing soccer with our friends!

  1. That looks like fun Pūkeko. Did you play soccer for the whole day? What team won the game? Some of us think a football festival would be fun since some of us play soccer after school. From Ruma Weka at Kaniere school.

  2. Hello Ruma Kaniere. Thank you for leaving us a comment. We played soccer for just part of the morning. After we played football the other learning spaces got to go and have a turn. The yellow team won the game. We had so much fun. Some of us play soccer or other sports after school or on the weekend too. What sports do you play at your school? From the Pūkeko Learning Space at Wigram Primary School!
